Getting there: To visit the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, one can easily either fly to this destination from Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi. Or may also travel via the sea route from either Chennai or Kolkata, which takes around 3 days to reach the Islands.

History: It is not properly known actually when the first inhabitants reached the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. However, in the eighteenth century, the British utilized the Island as a penal colony. During WWII, the Islands were recorded to be occupied by the Japanese.
